So, we have ALL been given a social ban again due to some people who decide to take the fucking PISS at work by finishing early and getting so off their face on drugs and alcohol that they act like utter douches. Really annoys me because sometimes after a 10 hour shift you need a few drinks to bring you back to life. Don’t get me wrong I’ve been WASTED at work but A) Never when I’ve been working and B) On the one off occasion and when I realise how drunk I am I always take myself home to bed.
I’m training up to be supervisor and I’ve realised I’m turning into a bitch. The people who take the piss with drinking after shift know NOT to come to me to get served because I’ll give them singles and ask for the correct drink tokens. No Mrs Nice Emma. LOL. But, with other people I’m like la, la, la I’ll pour you 3 triples and take one drinks token. Mwaaaah, love you biatchs ;).
It’s a place of work, you need to have some respect for it or you’ll loose your job!
I’ve been working there since September 2010 and have seen it change SO much and I’ve also learnt so much. I never knew how to work on a bar before JC too me on and I’m so grateful that I got the chance with NO training. I pretty much learnt on the job and was thrown in at the deep end. I am one of the only bar staff still working there and the difference in the way the place is managed has shifted dramatically from one end of the scale to the other.
We used to be able to get drunk on shift, drink shots whenever we wanted to, walk around, wear what ever we wanted and just have a lot of fun. NOW, we have uniform, no drinking on or after shift, no fun, no laughter. BLEH.
At least Jamie works there so I get to see his pretty face whenever he walks past the bar. Aww, what a cutie. HA!
